Richard Gets Things Done
It has been a pleasure to serve you on County Committee (known as LACDP) and State Committee (CDP),
and I look forward to continuing getting things done for you through these official party organizations.

I am a scientist/engineer with a long history of political activism.
I seek to combine these to produce policy based on sound science.
I have long used my physics background from my time at Caltech to inform good policy. I've been fighting against climate deniers. Working for nuclear power safety. Making sure we clean up polluted sites such as the Santa Susana Field Lab, in the middle of the district, which was the site of a 1959 nuclear power meltdown. I work for applying science principles to other areas such as economic policy.
Read my biography for information about how I have succeeded in getting things done on these important issues and more.
I left physics to become a computer system architect with extensive experience in designing computer components and software, most recently devices such as solid-state disks and related non-volatile technology. I have been a Chief Technology Officer and Senior System Architect and am now running my own consulting business. I have the experience needed to take a leadership role and get things done.

Thanks for your support.
I look forward to serving you.
